The Rose of Sharon Sabbath Apostolic Church was started in the basement of Pastor Betty Page and Deacon Monroe Page’s home in Baltimore MD.  The Church was under the leadership of Pastor Sue I. Edwards who was also the pastor of Sue I. Edwards Apostolic Church in Richmond, Virginia. Mother Sue as she was called by her congregants; would travel from Richmond, Virginia to Baltimore, Maryland to fellowship with Rose of Sharon Sabbath Apostolic Church. After mother Sue passed away, Pastor Willie G. Suggs took over the fellowship until he passed away in 2017. In 1971, Pastor Betty Page and Deacon Monroe Page had a vision for a new church and moved their congregation to Severna Park, MD. The church built around five New Testament purposes given to the church by Jesus. These purposes are Worship, Fellowship, Discipleship, Ministry, and Mission (Matthew 22:37-40), (Acts 2:38). God gave this congregation a great Victory in knowing; that this church would be a purpose driven church. Pastor and Deacon Page agreed that if God had not been by their side they would not have been able to come this far. In 2003 Rose of Sharon Church lost their beloved Pastor Betty Page. Not to leave a void in the church, Elder Monroe Page took over as Pastor of Rose of Sharon Sabbath Apostolic Church. Pastor Monroe Page brings the church christian knowledge and insight from his extensive knowledge in the:
